Join me in shaping our gender equity strategy – exclusive member event

The finance industry has a gender equity problem. The gender pay gap isn’t falling quickly enough, sexual harassment isn’t taken seriously (so it is under reported) and flexible work is not an option for men or women once we reach a certain level in our careers.

Things need to change. But we’ve got a plan, and we want you to be part of shaping it!

I’d like to invite you to an exclusive member event on Friday 19 September at 12pm (AEST), held on Finance Industry Equal Pay Day.

This will be a special consultation session where we’ll explore the barriers that continue to entrench gender inequity in our industry, and delve into how we’ll be fighting for change.

When: Friday 19 September, 12pm (AEST)

Where: Online via Zoom

Members play a key role in our campaigns, so the feedback you provide will be critical in shaping and driving our gender equity strategy for the next few years. This is an issue that has an impact on our industry as a whole, so I encourage all members, regardless of gender, to join me at this event as we fight for fairer, safer and more equal workplaces.

You can also take action now by signing up to get involved with our campaign.

I look forward to seeing you there and working with you to build a finance industry where equity is the standard, not the exception.

In unity,
Julia Angrisano
FSU National Secretary
