CUA Workers Vote Yes To New Enterprise Agreement

At the end of last week, a ballot was held for all eligible employees to vote for the new Enterprise Agreement at CUA. It was pleasing to see a 94% yes vote.

CUA employees have voted yes to a new Enterprise Agreement for the next three years.

The Agreement includes:

  • Salary increases of 3% July 2017, 2018 & 2019 for all staff rated “living” and above. Pay increases are not linked to achieving business performance objectives.
  • STI payments of up to 2% of TFR for eligible employees based on performance.
  • Part-time employees will be paid overtime once they have completed more than 37.5 hours (full-time equivalent hours).
  • Introduction of 10 days paid leave (non-cumulative) for Domestic Violence Leave.
  • Superannuation to be paid on the first 13 weeks of unpaid Parental Leave.
  • Introduction of a flexible working hours clause.
