SCU EA 2016 – It’s a Yes!
FSU Members lead the way for 2.5% pay increase win

After almost 6 months of negotiations FSU members and SCU workers will receive a 2.5% pay increase back dated to the first pay period July 2016 in their next pay – Thursday 8 December 2016.
The pay increase is part of the FSU negotiated entitlements under the proposed new enterprise agreement which has been voted in favour by majority of FSU members and SCU employees. The ballot results were announced yesterday.
The FSU member led negotiations have also secured further across the board pay increases of 2.6% in 2017 and 2.7% in 2018. In addition to the pay increases there will be a $100 increase to the Uniform Allowance.
Next Steps
The proposed new enterprise agreement is now subject to approval by the Fair Work Commission. Your back pay however will be processed immediately.
The FSU is working closely with SCU for the proposed new agreement to be lodged at the Fair Work Commission as soon as possible.
The wins achieved in negotiations have been as a result of FSU members standing up together and having a collective voice and the FSU congratulates its members and the FSU Worker Council.
