Education & Training

According to a 2004 Australian Bureau of Statistics survey, educational standards in the finance sector have changed dramatically over recent years. Between 2001 and 2004, the proportion of finance employees with post-secondary qualifications increased from 44.4% to 60.0% and the proportion with Bachelor degrees from 18.2% to 23%.

The implications for finance sector workers are clear. Qualifications are becoming increasingly important.
